St. Nicolas chapel crowns a prime hilly location protecting the port with a panoramic view of the sheltered beaches, Acherounes, Kaladi, Pontikoniso, Kalogeri, found at distance of not more than half a mile away. A northbound 10km-long asphalt road connects Linaria with Chora (the main town), and to Palamari Bronze Age fortified settlement of 2800 B.C. and thereon the airport, while at the junction to Pefkos a newly paved road may take you to the lace-like western coast. The southbound road passing by the wide Kalamitsa bay (3Km) leads to Triss Boukeys bay where one may visit the grave of Rupert Brook, the poet.
