Upon Arrival.

Βoats of less than 25m  LOA and 3,5 to 4 meters draught , intending to moor at the inner eastern dock for sailing yachts, must approach astern following the harbour’s personnel instructions without dropping anchor until they can reach the permanent mooring line (rope) that will attach on their boat at suitable length. On leaving harbour, this line is simply released from boat and let sink, ensuring first that it is attached at the dock.

The moorings are concrete blocks (2800 kg each) and have 8.5m gauge 22 chain followed by the mooring line size 22mm. They are placed at 35m distance away from the dock, at depths varying from 5m to 7m. Boats of LOA greater than 25m can drop anchor but at distance at least 45m from the dock.

During summer, from morning to evening, efficient refuge personnel comprised of Kyriakos & Sakis are to assist visiting skippers on rendezvous and docking as well as with information on the island.

The marina depths vary (3.5 to 10m.)

There are two Flash lights, one at the Linaria port (with red, green and white sectors) and another one on the Valaxa islet 3 n.m. on the S-SW route to Linaria.

Electricity (1 and 3-phase 220v) and Fresh drinking water are supplies at no charge for fishing, sailing, and small vessels only. In this case the charge is born by the Port Fund, the shop owners and professional fishermen of Linaria. In this respect over consumption of drinking water must be avoided.

Gasoline  and petrol supplies may be delivered from any of the three gas stations of the island, (tel # :22220-91388,  22220-92017 and 22220-91409 consecutively), the nearest 4 km. away from the port. Daily Greek and international press may be purchased at the press kiosk, right next to the ferry-boat local ticket office.
